AEPi

Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) is the world’s leading Jewish college fraternity, operating chapters on more than 150 college campuses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Israel. Founded in 1913, it has more than 110,000 living alumni. The fraternity’s mission—to develop the future leaders of the Jewish communities—is demonstrated daily through acts of brotherhood, tzedakah (charity), social awareness and support for Jewish communities and Israel.
More than 80 chapters organized events on Oct. 16 to educate fellow students, rally support for Israel and raise money for Israeli causes at a “Day of Strength.”
Elan Carr, Daniel Elbaum and Honorable Ron Klein to receive the Gitelson Silver Medallion for Jewish Communal Service.
“Rob brings us the financial acumen and knowledge of our operations along with an understanding and appreciation for our undergraduate chapters,” said Jason Oshins, AEPi’s International President.
The article below was written by Matanya Harow (Hebrew U, 2021), the president of AEPi’s chapter in Jerusalem. In his final semester of school at Hebrew University, double majoring in Economics and International Relations, Brother Harow is an Israeli native and citizen who grew up in Efrat, a few minutes south of Jerusalem. He served as a combat soldier and later commander in the IDF, stationed in areas all over Judea, Samaria and the Gaza border. Today, he studies, works and lives in Jerusalem. Brother Harow wanted to use this space to give his Brothers in the diaspora a sense of what it is like to be in Jerusalem and Israel this week. These are his words and opinions. AEPi is proud to be the only fraternity in Israel and strongly supports our Brothers and all Israelis.
