The Israeli finance minister called to “open the gates of hell” on Hamas.
Idan Amedi was seriously wounded in an explosion in Gaza last year which killed six soldiers from his unit.

The Israeli premier endorsed Trump’s “new and revolutionary vision” for Gaza, rejecting a role for either Hamas or the P.A. in the Strip.
“We share in the family’s deep mourning. We will neither rest nor be silent until he is returned for burial in Israel,” said the Israeli premier.

She demanded of Israel’s government to save Alon. “They must do everything to bring Alon and everyone back home.”
The U.S. president stated a deadline of noon; otherwise, he says, “it’s going to be a different ball game.”
