The New York Republican is asking the U.S. attorney general to investigate an alleged campaign by the medical relief group to attack a U.S.-backed aid agency.
An immigration judge ordered Mahmoud Khalil’s deportation to Syria or Algeria, agreeing with the Trump administration that the Columbia graduate’s failure to include pertinent information on his green card application is grounds for revocation.
They say that requests for such probes have been ignored by previous administrations, and that the policy is continuing under U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Iran continues to provide support that enables these militias to plan, facilitate or directly carry out attacks across Iraq,” it stated.
“The special bond with your great nation is deeply revered by the people of Fiji,” said Sitiveni Rabuka, prime minister of the archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean.
“Her murder, along with so many others, is a damning indictment of the Islamic Republic’s crimes against humanity,” the department stated.
It would mark the Israeli prime minister’s fourth in-person meeting with the American president since January.
“We will continue to disrupt these key financial streams that fund malign activities in the Middle East and beyond,” said John Hurley at the U.S. Treasury Department.
Rep. Michael McCaul said it has been “the honor of a lifetime” to serve in Congress and that he won’t seek re-election next year.
The U.S. secretary of state “will convey America’s priorities in the Israel-Hamas conflict, reaffirming U.S. commitment to Israeli security,” the department said.
The Trump administration sanctioned 32 people and entities, as well as four vessels, linked to the Iran-backed terror group.
Skyler Philippi, 24, of Columbia, Tenn., was “motivated by a violent ideology,” said the U.S. assistant attorney general for national security.
