Claudine Gay reportedly has a $900,000 annual salary as a Harvard University professor, even after she resigned as the school’s president in the wake of charges that she plagiarized and after she testified before a House committee that calling for genocide against Jews doesn’t necessarily violate the institution’s policies.

There might be a lot more money coming her way to tell her story, from book publishers and Hollywood, according to an exclusive report in the Daily Mail.

At least three New York publishers, “desperate for a huge blockbuster bestselling memoir,” are prepared to offer an advance up to $15 million for Gay’s exclusive memoir, per the Daily Mail, citing anonymous sources in the publishing industry.

“The Claudine Gay Story can be this era’s ‘Roots,’” an unnamed “powerful” producer told Daily Mail. The source added that Halle Berry, Kerry Washington, Zoe Kravitz and Beyoncé are being considered to portray the embattled former Harvard president.
