“Civilization is a fragile concept. You can tear things down easier than you can build them up,” Mark Milke, who runs the Canadian think tank, told JNS.
“You do not need to be a Jew to stand against antisemitism,” one of the attendees, many of whom fled persecution abroad, told JNS.
“The big organizations have never been wartime organizations,” Amir Epstein, co-executive of Tafsik, told JNS.
“This is an opportunity for Canada to completely reassess the role it plays in the Middle East,” Guidy Mamann, of the Toronto Zionist Council, told JNS.
