She has clashed publicly with “Daily Wire” co-founder Ben Shapiro, who denounced her antisemitism.
Abraham Foxman, director emeritus of the Anti-Defamation League, called the event a “sad day for the Jewish community.”
“A good way not to accidentally dine with a vile racist and anti-Semite you don’t know is not to dine with a vile racist and anti-Semite you do know,” tweeted Shapiro.
“Here is the difference between anti-Semitism and naming just a person who happens to be Jewish—that you’re blaming all the Jewish people,” Shapiro said.
He told JNS that the Jordanian Waqf does not want non-Muslim visitors “to feel safe” on the Temple Mount.
“America has one major thing it can learn from Israel: that a nation-state must have, at its heart, a nation,” he said.
“Jews should live where they can be a light to the nations and for me as a person with millions and millions of followers in the United States promoting what I think are values that are eternally good, living in the United States is a point of morality for me,” he said.
American Conservative Union executive director Dan Schnieder said it expects 2,000 attendees, including several Israeli government officials.
