Israeli-American Council launches merch campaign to combat Kanye’s hate

The CEO of the Israeli American Council told JNS about being on the front lines of the fight to protect Jews on American campuses, in Congress and elsewhere.
“The whole world stands together in outrage,” said Elan Carr, CEO of the Israeli-American Council, as he spoke in Times Square, in the heart of New York City.
The experienced diplomat’s own parents helped found the group.
“Kansas is made stronger by our Jewish residents and their many contributions,” said Gov. Laura Kelly.
“To my friend Donald Trump, you are better than this,” said President Donald Trump’s former Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.
The former State Department anti-Semitism envoy is on a mission to increase American philosemitism, in part by highlight Jewish contributions to the success of the United States.
“We would never have imagined that these things would be said … in classrooms, never mind by radical-left campus groups, but preached by professors in class, in high schools in Manhattan, on the best college campuses … in polite company, and really, really propagated in a way in the halls of Congress as well,” said Elan Carr, former Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism.
“You know how you play offense? You shout from the rooftops what Jewish history means and what the values of Judaism are that are inextricably linked to the very fabric, the very DNA, of the United States of America,” said Elan Carr, former envoy for anti-Semitism during the Trump administration.
Former U.S. Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating anti-Semitism Elan Carr joins JNS editor-in-chief Jonathan S. Tobin to discuss what needs to be done to halt the rise in Jew-hatred.
He will handle responsibilities such as engaging with the House and Senate Bipartisan Task Forces for Combating Anti-Semitism.
The Zachor Legal Institute identifies several domestic organizations tied to BDS, among them Jewish Voice for Peace, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, IfNotNow and American Muslims for Palestine.
