‘Top Story,’ Ep. 14: Elan Carr: Defining Jews as White and Privileged Is anti-Semitic

Former U.S. Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating anti-Semitism Elan Carr joins JNS editor-in-chief Jonathan S. Tobin to discuss what needs to be done to halt the rise in Jew-hatred.

The two discuss extremism on the Internet, confronting Jew-hatred on both the left and right, and whether or not former President Donald Trump enabled anti-Semitism. They also discuss critical race theory, whether Hungary’s government is anti-Semitic, Carr’s successor at the U.S. State Department, and his experiences as the son of a Jewish immigrant from Iraq and an Iraq war veteran.

“Top Story” also airs on JBS-TV on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.; and on Thursdays at 11 a.m. and at 5:30 p.m.
