The Israeli defense minister spoke after U.S. President Joe Biden launched a proposal offering Hamas an immediate “full and complete ceasefire.”
The “LOTAR Otef” unit will consist of troops who previously served in special forces and live in the Gaza border towns.

The seven countries called on Hamas to accept the deal and for a two state solution.
