Houthi leader slams Trump’s Gaza plans as ‘American arrogance’

The terrorist spokesman said Yemen will stand with Jordan and Egypt “without red lines” if they confront the U.S. over resettling Palestinians.

A leader of the Houthi terrorist group in Yemen on Wednesday criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent remarks on Gaza, calling them an example of “American arrogance” that should not be met with Arab submission.

“American arrogance will spare no one as long as it is met with submission from the Arabs. This reaffirms that Yemen’s policy of supporting any resistance front is the correct choice,” senior political officer and spokesman Mohammed al-Bukhaiti wrote on X.

The terrorist leader also said that if Cairo or Amman confront the U.S., Yemen’s Houthis would fully support them “to the furthest extent and without red lines.”

Egypt and Jordan have rejected Trump’s proposal to accept Gazans, a proposal he repeated on Tuesday at the White House alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting that Amman and Cairo would come around to accepting Palestinians from the war-torn coastal enclave.

The Houthis, who attacked Israel and Red Sea shipping during the current Israel-Hamas war, halted their strikes following the ceasefire that went into effect on Jan. 19. However, their actions significantly reduced Suez Canal traffic, damaging Egypt’s economy because of lost transit fees.

“Such hate has no place in our schools or our state, especially as we begin Jewish American Heritage Month,” said Maryland Gov. Wes Moore.
“While our ability to provide additional information at this time is limited, we will continue to keep the community informed,” the private D.C. university stated.
“This is not a prank. It was an act of intimidation meant to spread fear,” Vince Gasparro, a Liberal parliamentarian, told JNS.
“We welcomed this traitor into our nation with open arms,” the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan said. “And he repaid us by building a bomb and helping our great enemy.”
The “failed approach” to lasting peace between the countries has “allowed terrorist groups to entrench and enrich themselves, undermine the authority of the Lebanese state and endanger Israel’s northern border,” said State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott.
“One has to wonder how that humble pie tastes for the Democrats today,” Sam Markstein of the Republican Jewish Coalition told JNS.
