Lebanon

Since the start of the war on Oct. 7, a total of 3,100 launches from Lebanon and 35 from Syria have crossed into Israeli territory.
Two other Hezbollah terrorists were also slain in the attack, according to the Israeli military.
The attack was believed to be a response to Israeli strikes on terror targets near the Hezbollah stronghold of Baalbek in northern Lebanon.
“A war would be a difficult challenge for the State of Israel—however, it would be a catastrophe for Hezbollah and Lebanon,” the defense minister said.
Initial reports blamed Israel for the blast in Southern Lebanon.
A series of launches from Lebanon targeted the border communities of Malkia and Margaliot near Kiryat Shmona.
The strike represents one of the highest-ranking commanders killed since the Iranian-backed terrorist organization began lobbing northern Israel with rockets, UAVs and anti-tank missiles after Oct. 7.
The volley, which targeted the town of Shlomi, was the second in a span of hours. No injuries or damage were reported in either attack.
Seven members of Al-Jama’a al-Islamiya were killed before they were able to carry out an attack in the Mount Dov area.
The Lebanese terror group is the strongest Iranian proxy in the Middle East.
