Speaking on Russia Today on March 26, Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal said that Iran—and not U.S. President Donald Trump—was “causing trouble in the region,” and that it was Russia’s responsibility to “highlight the atrocious acts that the Iranian government perpetrates against its own people.”
Prince Al-Faisal, the former Chief of Saudi Intelligence and Ambassador to the United Kingdom, pointed to Iranian intervention in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere.
He added that documents found in the compound of Osama bin Laden showed that he had been in touch with Iran.
