International Fellowship of Christians and Jews

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, founded by the late Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, is the largest philanthropic social aid organization in Israel, working to strengthen Israeli citizens and Jews in the Diaspora. In the past 40 years, it has raised $3.1 billion to provide assistance and support to vulnerable communities. The Fellowship’s activities are made possible through the support and generosity of hundreds of thousands of supporters of Israel worldwide. The organization has offices in Jerusalem, Chicago, Toronto and Seoul.
IFCJ president Yael Eckstein said that “one of the bright lights amid all this pain has been the support and spirit of partnership that has been created to respond to all sorts of needs for the people of Israel.”
The money will be used to buy life-saving and personal protective equipment, including flak jackets, helmets, first-responder kits and protected vehicles.
The soldiers of the “Sufa” Battalion of the 188th Armored Brigade, stationed in the Golan Heights, lit the third Hanukkah candle with volunteers from The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) and Yahad for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers “IFCJ/IDF Food Trucks”.
Critical assistance of up to $1,500 per family in need
The new olim made aliyah (immigrated to Israel) out of a sense of Zionism and a desire to live safely as Jews. Many of the olim had routinely faced anti-Semitism despite the efforts of French authorities to quell such occurrences.
