Rafael Grossi

Agency Director Rafael Grossi called it “an important step in the right direction” after months of suspension following the Israel-Iran war and legislation halting collaboration.
An IAEA spokesman confirmed that Rafael Grossi had been placed under the protection of Austria’s Cobra special forces unit.
“The capacities they have are there ..., a few cascades of centrifuges spinning and producing enriched uranium, or less than that,” Rafael Grossi said.
“When the war [with Israel] is over, we will settle accounts with Grossi,” Ali Larijani, former Iranian chief nuclear negotiator, warned on X.
Power loss from the Israeli strikes probably ruined most centrifuges at Iran’s main enrichment site, said agency director Rafael Grossi.
The Iranian regime has described the leak as “the greatest blow” to Israeli intelligence ever.
“Iran has repeatedly either not answered or not provided technically credible answers to the agency’s questions,” said IAEA head Rafael Grossi.
“These measures have no credible civilian justification,” said a Western diplomatic source.
Western countries formally submitted a resolution for vote at the Board of Governors meeting this week to censure Tehran over its nuclear activities.
Rafael Grossi met with the Iranian foreign minister, who said that the government is willing to resume nuclear talks, but not “under pressure and intimidation.”
Ahead of his trip, Rafael Grossi warned that “the margins to maneuver are beginning to shrink.”
Rafael Grossi also said he expects to work collaboratively with President-elect Donald Trump.
