Two rockets struck the Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona near the Lebanese border at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

At least one hit a building in the northern city. No casualties were reported.

Northern District police were cordoning off the impact site and searching for rocket parts to minimize risk to the public.

Two and a half hours earlier, terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired around six rockets at southern Israel. IDF Home Front Command warnings were activated in several communities, including Gan Yavne, Bitzaron, Hazor and Azrikam.

No casualties were reported. One rocket struck a road.

Meanwhile, on the Philadelphi Corridor on the Gaza Strip’s border with Egypt, Israeli troops have located dozens of underground tunnels, including one found at the start of last week that reached three meters high (~10 feet), the IDF reported on Sunday.

“The IDF will thoroughly destroy all the underground infrastructure in the Philadelphi Corridor and will act with determination to prevent their formation in the future,” the army said.
