Washington is “gravely concerned,” the U.S. State Department said.

Houthi terrorists posted video of their attack on the Greek tanker Sounion on Friday, reportedly to mock the United States.

The New York Post reported that the ship was carrying 150,000 tons of crude oil, and that the terrorists “can be heard chanting the group’s slogan: ‘God is the greatest! Death to America! Death to Israel! Curse the Jews! Victory to Islam!’ as the fire rages,” in the video.

Washington “is gravely concerned by the Houthis’ attacks against the oil tanker MT Delta Sounion,” stated Matthew Miller, the U.S. State Department spokesman, on Saturday. “The Houthis’ continued attacks threaten to spill a million barrels of oil into the Red Sea, an amount four times the size of the Exxon Valdez disaster.”

“While the crew has been evacuated, the Houthis appear determined to sink the ship and its cargo into the sea,” Miller said. “Through these attacks, the Houthis have made clear they are willing to destroy the fishing industry and regional ecosystems that Yemenis and other communities in the region rely on for their livelihoods, just as they have undermined the delivery of vital humanitarian aid to the region through their reckless attacks.”

Washington called on the Houthis “to cease these actions immediately and urge other nations to step forward to help avert this environmental disaster,” Miller added.

There was never a question whether bar and bat mitzvahs were going to continue, says Rabbi Marla Hornsten at Temple Israel, despite the havoc that had teachers and children evacuate the building.
“We will not rest in the mission to stop the spread of radical Islam,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott stated.

“If it’s something that families are attuned to, then I think it may be a good way to engage the kids on that level,” Rabbi Steven Burg, of Aish, told JNS.
“I was a little surprised at the U.K. to be honest with you,” U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House. “They should have acted a lot faster.”
“It is imperative that university administrators rise to the occasion to take a firm stand against antisemitism and racial violence,” Sen. Bill Cassidy wrote.
