Mark Werner is the immediate past president of Volunteers for Israel. He is the author of two books about his volunteer experiences on IDF bases: “A Passion For Israel: Adventures of a Sar-el Volunteer” (2020) and “Army Fatigues: Joining Israel’s Army of International Volunteers” (2008).
