More than 2,000 trucks have been intercepted “peacefully” by Arab mobs or forcefully by armed terrorists during transit in the Strip since May 19, according to the United Nations.
Josh Shapiro, a Jewish Democrat, also accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “reckless language.”
The Israeli president stated that “to finish the tragedy in Gaza, which was imposed only by Hamas, one has to get the hostages back home.”
During his visit to Tel Hashomer, the prime minister urged new IDF recruits to focus on defeating Hamas, freeing hostages and securing Israel’s borders.
The pilot will see a limited number of merchants bring in basic foodstuffs, including fruits and vegetables, baby food and hygiene products.
“These horrifying images are further evidence of the cruel torture inflicted on innocent Israelis held by Hamas,” said the Israeli president.
Hezbollah’s propaganda training of Hamas included how to counter the Israeli narrative, how to train social media influencers and how to train schoolchildren to produce their own content.
He “is being starved by a Nazi terrorist organization that dares to spread the blood libel that Israel is starving the people of Gaza,” wrote Ofir Akunis, Israeli consul general of New York.
“The die is cast. We are going for a full occupation of the Gaza Strip,” an unnamed senior Israeli official told Israeli media.
Linked to Iran, imprisoned in Israel, and narrowly escaping several assassination attempts, al-Hayya was appointed deputy to Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in 2021 and now serves as Hamas’s chief negotiator.
Hamas is using the starvation and torture of captives as part of a “well-planned sadistic propaganda campaign,” the Israeli foreign minister said.
The protesters included friends of Hamas hostage Rom Braslavski, and Otzma Yehudit Party lawmaker Yitzhak Kroizer.
