The three countries’ “criminal coordination” makes them targets for a “legitimate response,” says Iraqi Shi’ite militia.

Following the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh on Nov. 27, the Hezbollah Brigades, an Iraqi Shi’ite militia loyal to Iran, released a statement in which it referred to the assassination as “a treacherous and cowardly act” of the Zionist-American-Saudi “axis of evil.” The statement, published by the Kaf Telegram channel affiliated with the Hezbollah Brigades, threatened these three countries with revenge, saying they will pay a “heavy price.”

The following is a translation of the statement:

“Day after day, the Zionist-American-Saudi axis of evil proves its animosity toward the Islamic peoples and its insistence on preventing them from enjoying knowledge, advancement and development in all spheres of life, especially in the nuclear sphere, in which it wants to hold the monopoly. Their baseness reached a record low with the assassination of the renowned Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in a treacherous and cowardly act which proves the extent of the hatred and the concern about Iran’s scientific achievements. Furthermore, it proves the extent of their animosity toward the Islamic peoples who are waging a war of jihad and standing firm.

“This crime is the continuation of a series of crimes against the scientific capabilities in Iran. In the past, they attacked scientists and the scientific capabilities of Iraq and scientists from among the Muslim and Arab peoples.

“The meeting of the Zionist-American-Saudi triangle of evil in the vipers’ nest in Neom laid the foundation for the execution of a hostile, satanic plot against the peoples of the resistance, and it is possible that one of its black aspects is the assassination of, and attack on, scientists and leaders. This means that these countries are plotting an aggressive new phase after failing to achieve their goals to force the surrender of the true Islamic country [Iran] by means of sanctions and an oppressive siege. Another of their goals is to consume the resources of the axis of resistance and to weaken it through confrontations with Wahhabi criminal organizations which are supported by the United States, in order to distract it from its main campaign against the Zionist enemy.

“The collaboration and criminal coordination between Saudi Arabia, the United States and the Israeli entity in the assassination of the shahid [‘martyr’], the scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, transform them into a target for revenge and a legitimate response. The list of the crimes of this evil, hostile axis is very long and they should know that the price of their crimes will be high and will smash the pillars that support them. They will have no security as long as our Islamic ummah produces scientists and jihadi fighters who will not rest until the vipers’ nest is destroyed.”

Israel’s ambassador to Canada called on the country’s leaders to “immediately take all necessary measures to thwart this ticking bomb.”
The man was recognized by police officers while attending a court hearing of the three other suspects connected to the case.
“No one has the strength to go out and fight. You can’t tell them you don’t want to come,” a Hezbollah fighter revealed during questioning.
Hundreds of terror sites linked to Tehran and Hezbollah were hit over the weekend.
Israel’s wartime restrictions on the country’s airspace are tentatively in place through April 16.
“Salah Salem Sarsour is a terrorist convicted for throwing Molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli armed forces,” the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said.
