Family of kidnapped: What needs to happen to bring them home

“The Caroline Glick Show” with guest Hemi Goldin, Ep. 77

The Goldin family is no stranger to the world of Hamas kidnapping.

Israel Defense Forces Capt. Hadar Goldin, 23, was killed by Hamas terrorists during “Operation Protective Edge” in the summer of 2014 while a humanitarian ceasefire was in place. The terrorists snatched his body. And ever since, his family has been trying to get him back.

Immediately after the Oct. 7 mass slaughter by Hamas in southern Israel—and even before the dimensions of its hostage-taking operation were understood—the Goldin family started helping organize the families of the estimated 240 people of all ages determined missing and kidnapped. They have offered psychological care and held daily Zoom forums with them, and, most importantly, have been giving them hope that they will see their loved ones again.

The guest today on “The Caroline Glick Show” is Hemi Goldin, Hadar’s older brother. He spoke about his family’s experiences and what now has to happen to put pressure on Israeli leaders in order to rescue the captives and bring them home.
