Kanye West

“While I wish they did it sooner, Adidas—to their credit—made it abundantly clear that they would not do business with bigots,” ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said Thursday.
“I’m standing by Ye as he weathers this tremendous storm. But I also recognize that I need to make it abundantly clear that I’m standing by Dennis Prager as well, and all of my other Jewish friends,” Owens wrote.
“Mental illness is not a reason to be an anti-Semite,” resolution sponsor Alexander Feinstein said.
The Bloomberg report follows a Forbes story that Ye’s net worth dropped from $2 billion to $400 million after Adidas ended the “Yeezy” brand partnership over the rapper’s anti-Semitic comments.
The basketball legend said, “Look what happened in the time it took for all the people who ended up condemning Kanye, look how long it took for them to get around to saying what they had to say. In the meantime, Jewish kids were intimidated and bullied and had to deal with a whole lot of violence or violent thoughts directed at them because someone like Kanye West says it’s okay. It’s not okay.”
“It was a Jewish doctor that diagnosed me of having a disorder that would’ve had me on medication right now,” Ye, who was originally diagnosed with bipolar disorder after being hospitalized for a psychiatric emergency in 2016, said in a video circulated on Twitter.
The honor comes just days after a TV ad urging Americans to stand up against Jew-hatred aired during Sunday’s game between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets.
The incident highlights the rampant anti-Semitism on the notorious website, a reflection of growing anti-Semitic sentiment in the United States.
CNN cited several anonymous sources close to the artist, including a business executive who said Ye “would praise Hitler by saying how incredible it was that he was able to accumulate so much power and would talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people.”
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald said Ye’s remarks “are the exact opposite of how we choose to live our lives and raise our children.”

“Lies are an important part of discrimination, and this one is no different,” MRC stated, adding, “The silence from leaders and corporations when it comes to Kanye or antisemitism in general is dismaying but not surprising.”
