UK Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis knighted by King Charles III
Mirvis was honored in recognition of his “significant services to the Jewish community, to interfaith relations and to education.”
Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and his wife Valerie will stay at Clarence House on Friday, May 5, 2023, in order to attend the coronation the following day.
“It’s true that the Queen never visited Israel, but King Charles has visited several times as prince and was received by President Isaac Herzog very cordially,” said envoy Neil Wigan.
