Kinneret reaches best water levels in two years and rising
A particularly rainy winter has raised its level by nearly 4.9 feet.
More than a half-inch of rain fell on Kibbutz Ayalon in the Western Galilee in just one hour, and the Mount Hermon site in the Golan was closed on Thursday due to rainfall and heavy fog.
Israel’s Water Authority announced that barring precipitation far above average this winter, Israel’s drought will continue into a sixth year, and that water consumption restrictions may be put in place.
The IDF said that it was still confirming where the rockets hit, but that it may have been errant fire from the ongoing fighting in Syria.

More earthquakes in Israel’s north rattle residents, concern experts
