The library’s official opening, featuring dignitaries and donors, is planned for Oct. 17, 2023.

“These are not retrospective descriptions of reality but living descriptions,” Matan Barzilai, the library’s head of archives and special collections, told JNS. “They do not know what we already know.”
In time for Passover, the online resources include a large selection of Haggadot in the Sephardic tradition, available for download.
