KKL-JNF

Since its establishment in 1901, KKL-JNF has been developing the land of Israel, strengthening the bond between the Jewish people and its homeland.
The initiative will focus on two key goals: supporting local tourism businesses and raising awareness of the urgent need to bring the hostages home.
“May this tree grow strong and live long, a living symbol of the shared history between our countries, the bonds of friendship we have forged, and our mutual commitment to the values we hold dear,” said Santiago Peña.
“COP29 is an invaluable platform to build international partnerships, drive climate action and solidify KKL-JNF’s position as a global leader in environmental sustainability,” said Noah Tal.
A “Seeds of Hope” event showcased a new neighborhood for evacuees from Kibbutz Kfar Aza under construction, along with other projects aimed at rehabilitating the region.
The judges wrote: “The chosen symbol conveys a message of optimism, hope and growth.”
Signs were added with explanations in Braille, including illustrations, as part of upgrades along a trail in the Ben Shemen Forest.
The five-day camp experience gives children with special needs the chance to hike, play and simply be kids.
“Operation Swords of Iron” has created increased tensions between the two countries, and sparked anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian protests, alongside tough criticism from Irish politicians.
Topics broadly focused on Jewish education, Jewish identity, the future of Jewish education in Latin America and the relationship between Israel and the Central and South American Jewish diaspora.
