“This attack was a campaign of pure cruelty. Not just hate, but cruelty,” the U.S. president said.

Many slammed the Mondaire Jones social media post about the ousted House speaker as antisemitic.
Some fear the tendency of younger Democratic leaders to be more critical of Israel, while others predict that the U.S.-Israel relationship will remain strong.
“I’m not sure that we are really interested in the supreme leader’s point of view on this,” a Foggy Bottom spokesman said.
