The U.S. Navy captured illegal Iranian-made weapons earlier this week, including 150 anti-tank missiles on a traditional sailing vessel in the Arabian Sea, announced U.S. Central Command on Thursday.

The weapons seized on Sunday included 150 “Dehlavieh” anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM), which are Iranian-manufactured copies of Russian Kornet ATGMs.

Other weapon components seized aboard the ship included three Iranian surface-to-air missiles, Iranian thermal-imaging weapon scopes and Iranian components for unmanned aerial and surface vessels, in addition to other munitions and advanced weapons parts.

CENTCOM said the operation was ongoing.

JNS is more than just another news website and syndication service. At JNS, you get the facts about Israel and Jewish issues without the bias that so often tilts the argument against the Jewish state. JNS articles and columns are republished every week by digital outlets and print newspapers across the globe.
