For millennia, the Jewish People’s flame has burned brightly, fueled by traditions and practices passed down from generation to generation, reliant on an unbroken chain of continuity. Each generation has carried a sacred responsibility of securing the future of the Jewish people and our connection to the land of Israel for their children, grandchildren, and generations yet unborn. In this spirit, Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA) proudly supports the Jewish Future Pledge.

The Jewish Future Pledge is a worldwide movement that encourages all Jews to commit 50% or more of the charitable giving they intend to leave in their will, whether that be $10 or $10 million, to Jewish causes.

JNF-USA CEO Russell F. Robinson said: “Now more than ever, we need to come together and support each other, and few things unite our community like philanthropy. The Jewish Future Pledge is every Jewish person’s way of saying that Israel and the Jewish people will continue to live on from generation to generation.”

JNF-USA’s fastest-growing donor demographic is driven by 22–40-year-old supporters through JNFuture, yet multiple communal surveys suggest that a rising percentage of young people are disconnecting from their Jewish identity and Israel. At this important moment, the Jewish Future Pledge together with JNF-USA will spark critical intergenerational conversations while creating an even brighter future for the land and people of Israel and Jewish people everywhere.

Jewish Future Pledge Co-Founder Mike Leven said: “We must act now with passion and creativity to ensure that future generations have the resources to build and maintain vibrant and dynamic Jewish institutions. Whether you leave $10 or $10 million to charity in your will, signing the pledge gives every Jew an opportunity to write their chapter in our people’s remarkable story.”

Leven continued: “JNF-USA’s iconic blue tzedakah boxes have ingrained the principles of Jewish giving in many of us from a young age. We are honored to partner with a leading Jewish institution like JNF-USA to advance our shared vision and strengthen the Jewish people for generations to come.”

The Jewish Future Promise (JFP) is a visionary global initiative dedicated to preserving and enriching the Jewish heritage for future generations. The Promise asks signers to make a moral commitment; if any charitable contributions are made upon passing, whether it be $10 or $10 million, at least half will support Jewish causes and/or the State of Israel. JFP also inspires young adults, through the Jewish Youth Promise for 13- to 24-year-olds, to secure lifelong engagement with the Jewish community. Its impactful work is supported through partnerships with major Jewish organizations, including the Jewish Federations of North America, JNF-USA, Israel Bonds, the Orthodox Union and a host of local federations across the United States.

For 125 years, Jewish National Fund-USA has helped strengthen the land and people of Israel by investing in the communities, infrastructure, and leadership that shape the country’s future. Our work is focused on making Israel’s North and South places where families can build full, vibrant lives with access to medical care, emergency response, water solutions, parks, playgrounds, jobs, and economic opportunity. Working with our donors and partners, we support underpopulated communities, help attract new residents, improve quality of life, and create the conditions for long-term growth. Our work reaches beyond projects on the ground. Through education, travel, and leadership opportunities, we connect Americans of all ages to Israel in meaningful and lasting ways. That vision continues with the World Zionist Village in Be’er Sheva, a global center that will bring people together to live, learn, lead, and strengthen the next generation of Zionist leadership.
