Iranian forces have taken over a ship on Wednesday, according to a video posted on Twitter by U.S. Central Command.

“Today in international waters, Iranian forces, including two ships and an Iranian ‘Sea King’ helicopter, overtook and boarded a ship called the ‘Wila,’ ” tweeted U.S. Central Command.

The Wila, a Liberian-flagged ship, was last reported to be off the coast of the United Arab Emirates in the Sea of Oman.

In 2019, Iran seized numerous ships, including Liberian ones, in the Strait of Hormuz, which is between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

Suspect Ami Gaidarov, 22, allegedly received over $22,000 from Iranian intelligence.
Opposition leader Yair Lapid had accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of a “diplomatic disaster.”
Ali Yusuf Harshi served as a “close associate and personal advisor” to Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem.
Muhammad Samir Muhammad Washah was a “key terrorist” in Hamas’s rocket and weapons production headquarters, according to the Israeli military.
“We never made that promise. We never indicated that was going to be the case,” said the U.S. vice president.
