“It’s very tough on Iran,” the president said of the order. “Hopefully we are not going to have to use it very much.”
“You said you met with Shia religious figures and you didn’t know who they were,” said Sen. Mark Warner. “I can’t imagine Shia religious figures in the Bekaa valley that didn’t have ties to Hezbollah.”
The American Academy of Pediatrics “claims to support the professional needs of its members, but this letter represents a troubling departure from that commitment,” the groups wrote.
