The European Broadcasting Union rejected comparisons made by pro-Palestinian activists with Russia’s exclusion from the competition.
The protesters, who called for boycotting Israel, referred to Israel’s “complicity” in Palestinian genocide.
“If the remaining BDS controversies come off Israeli companies after this, we can finally say that Morningstar is BDS free,” said Rich Goldberg of FDD.
Middle East customers, BDS movement targeted the restaurants because of perceived support for the Jewish state.
Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, the deputy mayor of Jerusalem, had a successful meeting the prior day with her counterpart in Madrid.
Glenn Youngkin also calls for legislation to bar government involvement with businesses that boycott Israel.
