“There is one principle that guides me: Israel will defend itself—anywhere, against any threat, with its own forces,” said the Israeli prime minister.
The Israeli premier convened top defense, tech, and academic experts to draft an AI acceleration plan and propose a new agency under the Prime Minister’s Office.
“On our 77th Day of Independence, the wonder of Israel’s revival continues to thrill us,” said the premier.
“After years on many fronts, in one night on the southern front, the sky fell. All systems collapsed. The Shin Bet also failed to provide early warning,” said the agency director, who will step down on June 15.
“You cannot build peace and security on lies. If you do so, sooner or later, these lies will crash on the Middle Eastern realities,” Netanyahu told JNS.
Ronen Bar’s claim that he “warned of war and alerted the entire system is false,” wrote the premier.
“The idea is folly, nothing more than folly,” Netanyahu told the JNS International Policy Summit in Jerusalem.
The premier was not required to file an affidavit, but without one, the court could not address Ronen Bar’s allegations.
The survivors were set to light memorial torches and share testimonies during Israel’s annual tribute to those lost in the Nazi genocide of European Jewry.
The Israeli premier rejected ceasefire proposals, stating that ending war now would be “a strategic defeat.”
About one-third of respondents told pollsters they have confidence in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
