The Israeli premier vowed to bring back all the hostages from Gaza, and to achieve the goals of the war against Hamas.
The Israeli premier is set to be the first foreign leader to visit Trump during his second term.
“Prime Minister Netanyahu’s historic visit to Washington will mark a significant moment in Israel-U.S. relations,” Ambassador Yechiel Leiter told JNS.
Sen. Rick Scott told JNS he looks forward to working with Trump and Netanyahu “on securing the release of the hostages and continuing the strategic objectives to secure the region.”
Steve Witkoff will then travel to Israel to discuss the Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal.
While Netanyahu’s visit to the United States has not been finalized, the reported plans are for him to depart on Sunday.
“The core of new antisemitism is the attempt to ... undermine [Israel’s] right to self-defense,” Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said.
Washington “is fully committed” to the Jewish state having “the capabilities it needs to defend itself,” the American defense secretary said.
Last year, the French government introduced extreme restrictions on Israeli entities taking part in weapons expositions in the country.
The infection began after the Israeli prime minister’s prostate operation.
The secretary of state said he looked forward to “addressing the threats posed by Iran and pursuing opportunities for peace.”
“Elon is a great friend of Israel,” who has “repeatedly and forcefully supported Israel’s right to defend itself,” the Israeli prime minister stated.
