The United Nations has blamed the “fog of war” for overcounting in Hamas statistics but hadn’t revealed that thousands of “unidentified” casualties haven’t been located.
The bloc unilaterally blamed the Jewish state’s “obstruction” for the failure to reach a truce deal with the Hamas terror organization.
The United States believes that the Palestinian Authority and a multinational coalition must help rule Gaza, while right-wing Israeli ministers and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are vocally opposed.
The Biden administration insists that an “effective and revitalized” Palestinian Authority govern the Strip.
The national security advisor told the gathered diplomats about continued talks between U.S. President Joe Biden and the region’s leaders.
The Israeli premier is facing a seemingly impossible task with competing forces from every side pushing for what they believe to be the best path forward in the coastal enclave.
“We are wearing Hamas down,” the fight “will intensify,” Israel’s defense minister said.
South Africa is again asking The Hague to order Jerusalem to halt its attack.
The Egyptian government is reportedly demanding that the crossing be managed only by Palestinians.
“What Israel has done is take the effort to minimize civilian casualties as no other army has done,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“What we didn’t finish then, we’ll do today. We’re advancing deeper, maneuvering harder, we have more time and bigger missions.”
The Israeli military is ramping up operations throughout the Gaza Strip.
