Five suspects have been arrested for their role in the scheme, which involved the transfer of funds from Hamas headquarters in Turkey through the Gaza Strip to Judea and Samaria.

This display of the IDF’s technological capability could serve to discourage Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad from wasting further funds on cross-border tunnels.
The rocket was intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome air-defense system, causing no casualties or damage.
The Collective Cheikh Yassine group, named after the founder of Hamas, has been “directly implicated” in the attack, according to French President Emmanuel Macron.
Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz said despite the recent quiet, “beneath the surface, terrorist organizations continue their efforts to harm Israeli citizens and our sovereignty.”
“The Palestinian, Arab and Islamic right is all of Palestine. This is our right, and no one can change our minds in this regard,” says Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri.
The Palestinian leadership has since lost support in a number of crucial circles, most of all in the larger Arab and Muslim world; as such, some voices have been heard calling for the resignation of Mahmoud Abbas, and others have been heard supporting Hamas.
