Hundreds of arson kites outfitted with Molotov cocktails and fuel have been flown into Israel since the Hamas-led “March of Return” began, setting more than 270 fires and burning 6,200 acres of land.
“It is outrageous for the Security Council to fail to condemn Hamas rocket attacks against Israeli citizens while the Human Rights Council approves sending a team to investigate Israeli actions taken in self-defense,” said U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.
Six people who suffered light injuries running for shelter during the alarms were taken to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, along with two who suffered panic attacks from fear.
“The Hamas terror organization again chooses to act against the interest of the residents of the Gaza Strip. After it failed during the violent riots along the security fence, it now chooses to conduct and allow a wide-scale attack against Israeli civilians,” according to the IDF Spokespersons Unit.

“The risks are all around us—whether it is instability in Syria or in Lebanon, where Hezbollah is a forward [Iranian] division, or Hamas, which gets its support from Iran. Iran is all over, offensively trying to operate against Israel, and we have to weigh and asses the risks constantly as we operate against this aggression,” a senior IDF source said.
Hamas terrorists are attacking Israeli security infrastructure on the border daily, according to the IDF, which “is determined to realize its defensive tasks and ensure the safety of the people of Israel.”
Israel’s ambassador to the UNHRC, Aviva Raz Shechter, slammed the special session, calling it “politically motivated and won’t improve the situation on the ground by even one iota.”
Despite reporting a dire need for medical equipment, the Hamas terror organization turned back two shipments of medical supplies for their populace because the goods bore labels from the Israel Defense Forces.
Major U.S. media outlets often fail to report fairly on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian equation, viewing protesters as underdogs, even though their goal is to breach the security fence and wreak havoc in Israel, prompted by the Hamas terror organization.
