It offered government officials alternatives to funnel humanitarian support to Palestinian civilians.
“The decision to resume funding to UNRWA without any independent findings is an appalling affront to the people of Israel and to Jewish Australians,” says Australian MP Andrew Wallace.
The remarks come amid mounting evidence implicating UNRWA employees in Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacre, and an unprecedented diplomatic battle over the future of the organization.
The solidarity trip to Samaria was part of the Israel Allies Foundation’s Annual Chairman’s Conference.
The U.N. agency’s chutzpah is without limit, Israel Katz said.
“UNRWA can never be part of a long-term solution to the conflict because at its core it seeks to perpetuate the conflict.”
The annual Israel Allies Foundation Chairman’s Conference will call to dismantle UNRWA.
The United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Kosovo and Papua New Guinea have their legations in Israel’s capital.
The event is being organized by the bipartisan Congressional Israel Allies Caucus.
