A delegation of 30 U.S. military officers this week got a glimpse into the future of warfare during a visit to Israel Aerospace Industries’ offices organized by the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA).

IAI develops advanced technologies to support Israel’s defense needs, and as a byproduct of the close strategic relations between Jerusalem and Washington it works closely with American partners to share capabilities and provide solutions for the U.S. military.

The delegation learned about the company’s work on next-generation fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile development, space exploration and satellites.

“Visits like this are an important way to strengthen the strong defense alliance between Israel and the United States. For more than 40 years, IAI has had a presence in North America and collaborates with U.S. defense and aerospace firms to share our combat-proven technological capabilities with the U.S. military,” said IAI North American Executive Vice President Col. (res.) Amir Geva.

Established in 1953, the state-owned IAI is one of Israel’s largest technology employers with offices and R&D centers in Israel and abroad.
