Israeli forces on Monday night fired on a suspect near the town of Halhul in Judea and Samaria who, along with two others, had been firebombing Israeli vehicles traveling on Highway 60, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

The suspect, who was wounded, was arrested, given medical attention on the scene and then evacuated to hospital for further treatment.

The suspect will later be transferred to security forces, the IDF said in a statement.

There were no reports of Israeli casualties.
