Iran steps up its proxy war against Israel, US

Endowment for Middle East Truth (EMET) webinar.

Iran has been at war with Israel and the United States for decades but the Hamas terrorist attacks on Oct. 7 began a multifront escalation that appears to be a turning point in its willingness to fund, train and weaponize regional terrorism at an alarming rate and level.

Iranian-backed terrorists across the region—Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza and Judea and Samaria, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria—present national security challenges not just for Israel but for America.

Why is Iran suddenly feeling emboldened enough to continually attack U.S. assets in Iraq and Syria; how close is it to obtaining weapons-grade uranium, and ultimately, a nuclear weapon; what can be done about the Houthis aggression in the Red Sea; and will a new war break out on Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah?

These are just some of the issues that an EMET webinar tackles as part of a discussion with Iran expert Behnam Ben Taleblu.

The Israeli prime minister is expected to take the stand for several more days for re-examination by his own attorneys.
“Our goal is clear: to establish Israel as a global leader in the field of artificial intelligence,” Netanyahu said.
“Monitoring this agreement cannot be passive,” Daniel S. Mariaschin, CEO of B’nai B’rith International, told JNS.
The change will centralize all civil planning approvals for construction, preservation and infrastructure in Israeli hands.
Ambassador Yechiel Leiter said that accusations against Israel are distorted, arguing terms like “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” have lost meaning.
Gideon Sa’ar said that Israel and the United States pushed back an immediate Iranian nuclear threat and called Hezbollah a violator of Lebanon’s sovereignty, urging disarmament.
