Why Israel is closer than ever to all-out war in the north

“Jerusalem Minute” with Middle East correspondent Josh Hasten, Ep. 36

The Israeli government is finally showing signs that the failed policies that led up to the massacre by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7 are over.

Last week alone, Israel carried out some of the greatest operations in the history of the Mossad by first eliminating Hezbollah’s communication lines along with several top leaders by way of exploding beepers. The Israel Defense Forces then eliminated Ibrahim Aqil, a top Hezbollah terrorist responsible for the 1983 bombing of the U.S. embassy and marine barracks in Beirut.

A full-blown war in the north of Israel seems imminent. JNS CEO and Jerusalem bureau chief Alex Traiman, with Middle East correspondent Josh Hasten, analyze and discuss the latest developments.

They also discuss Hezbollah’s targeting of Israeli officials; the U.N.’s outrageous demand to cleanse Judea of Jews ethnically; U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s statements regarding pressuring Israel; and everything that happened last week at the Israeli-American Council summit.

Alex Traiman is the CEO and Jerusalem bureau chief of the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) and host of “Jerusalem Minute.” A seasoned Israeli journalist, documentary filmmaker and startup consultant, he is an expert on Israeli politics and U.S.-Israel relations.
