Israel in damage control mode after Regev disses Dubai
Foreign Minister Eli Cohen praises the United Arab Emirates after Transport Minister Miri Regev said: “I was in Dubai—not that I will go back there, I didn’t like the place.”
Former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer had been viewed as the leading candidate for the position, and the Biden administration was said to be advocating for his appointment.
