SafeHeart was founded on Oct. 7, 2023, by a collective of trauma therapists from Israel’s festival and safe-space communities. The NGO provides holistic, trauma-informed care for survivors of the Oct. 7 massacre and their families. With a network of more than 400 certified therapists, including many who specialize in psychedelic-informed therapy, SafeHeart has delivered more than 75,000 hours of free therapy to more than 1,000 survivors and family members.
