American Jews were asked about the most important issue in deciding how to vote, which candidate would do a better job on key issues facing the United States, and questions regarding U.S.-Israel relations.
In answering if they were following events ahead of the Nov. 3 election, half of Israelis (48.1 percent) said they were “extremely interested.”
“[Trump] enabled federal agencies to combat anti-Semitism as a hate crime. He has fought anti-Semitism on college campuses. The president also signed the 2017 JUST Act and the Never Again Education Act, which provides $10 million for education on the Holocaust for our younger generations,” says Boris Epshteyn.
On the other side of the aisle, Jewish Democratic groups are seeking to push Joe Biden and Kamala Harris over the finish line, especially with virtually all polls, including in swing states, showing Biden ahead of Trump.
Most of the talk, however, focused on the coronavirus pandemic and the impact it has had on the health of Americans and the U.S. economy; relations with China; climate change; and the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court.
