Dozens of Jewish groups plan Washington rally to raise awareness of anti-Semitism
The rally will feature Israeli actress and author Noa Tishby; Elisha Wiesel, son of Holocaust survivor and Nobel laureat Elie Wiesel; and Rabbi Jeffrey Myers of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
“We want to show the world that we care,” said Sigal Sidi from Maryland, “that the news that they get is not always the truth, and we support Israel 100 percent on her ability and her right to protect our citizens. That’s why we are here.”
Iranian communications intercepted in January discussed attacking the base, as well the U.S. Army’s vice chief staff, as revenge for the killing of Quds Force Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

Jewish groups from both sides of the aisle unwaveringly condemned the chaos on Capitol Hill, with Democratic and liberal groups blaming the president for inciting the violence. Conservative Jewish groups focused on the breakdown of the rule of law, which they vociferously lamented.

The diagnosis came less than a week after U.S. Interior Secretary David Bernhardt helped light the National Menorah on Dec. 10 across from the White House in Washington, D.C.
