Alpha Epsilon Pi International Fraternity (AEPi), the Jewish college fraternity and TalkIsrael, a nonprofit dedicated to reshaping the conversation about Israel through the power of social media, have launched a partnership to develop an enhanced cadre of AEPi brothers to create positive content about Israel and Judaism on social media.

Undergraduate AEPi members will take a customized e-learning course about developing authentic, nonpolitical and positive conversations about Israel and Jewish identity. Following that, members will be selected to become AEPi/TalkIsrael Creators and have an opportunity to work with professional social media mentors who will help them build their personal online brand while promoting positive and impactful stories about Israel.

“While the war is over—and we are all incredibly thankful for that—the unfortunate reality is that there is still a huge battle to fight for the hearts and minds of campus communities,” said AEPi CEO Rob Derdiger. “Our undergraduate brothers have been advocating for Israel and stressing Jewish pride on campuses every day since even before Oct. 7. Now, we can start establishing more positive online and face-to-face conversations.”

The new partnership launched this fall 2025 as AEPi student members have begun taking the e-learning program and working with TalkIsrael mentors.

“We’re excited about the impact that this partnership will have on college students. The most effective way to break through the echo chamber of misinformation and misconceptions is through personal storytelling and genuine authenticity. By doing so, we can shift perceptions of Israel on social media in a meaningful way,” said Maya Vorobyov, executive director of TalkIsrael.
