The Council for a Secure America today released the 18th edition of its report on the ongoing war between Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Released at intervals over the past year, the reports provide independently sourced and linked updates and analysis on the war, the Oct. 7 massacre, and a detailed analysis of Israel’s response. The CSA Israel-Hamas War Report is used and cited by members of Congress and has been presented across the country to state and federal policymakers, major energy conferences and various community organizations.

Key points of emphasis in this most recent report are the terms of the second Israel-Hamas ceasefire, the beginning of the Israeli hostage-Palestinian prisoner exchange and the negative global ramifications of the Houthi offensive.

“CSA welcomes the long-overdue release of the hostages under the latest ceasefire agreement, but the cost of this deal is deeply troubling. Exchanging terrorists for innocent civilians sets a dangerous precedent, and securing the release of the remaining hostages remains an urgent international priority,” said CSA executive director Jennifer Sutton. “This edition of the report also highlights the far-reaching global impact of Houthi aggression in the Red Sea. We call for the immediate and unconditional release of all innocent hostages and an end to the Houthis’ unlawful actions in this vital maritime corridor.”

The report pulls from more than 100 mainstream media outlets and think tanks and includes hyperlinks and citations throughout the document. The information is all open source and in the public domain and can be shared or cross-posted freely.
