The Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (JLIC) will host a college in Israel fair in northern New Jersey on Nov. 11 showcasing English-language degree programs at Israel’s top universities. It will introduce high school students and their parents to the world-class educational opportunities available in Israel at a fraction of U.S. tuition costs.

Representatives from Israel’s leading institutions will be at the event, including those from:

  • Ariel University
  • Bar-Ilan University
  • Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
  • Hebrew University of Jerusalem
  • Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT)
  • Reichman University
  • Technion-Israel Institute of Technology
  • Tel Aviv University
  • University of Haifa

“This fair is designed to open students’ eyes to the possibilities of pursuing their degrees in Israel,” says Rabbi Jonathan Shulman, director of JLIC Israel. “These programs offer not just academic excellence, but also an incredible life experience in one of the world’s most dynamic countries.”

Attendees will discover:

  • Dozens of degree programs taught entirely in English
  • World-class institutions at the forefront of medicine, technology and scientific research
  • Unparalleled post-college job placement rates
  • Significant tuition savings as compared to U.S. universities
  • Opportunities to transition into Hebrew-language programs

Beyond academics, students studying in Israel join a vibrant international community. They become part of a melting pot of cultures from Australia, Europe, South America, South Africa, Canada and the United States, and they are supported by warm, welcoming communities and JLIC’s comprehensive network for English-speaking students.

The fair will address crucial questions about:

  • Admissions processes
  • Campus living arrangements
  • Educational costs
  • Community integration
  • Student life
  • Academic programs
  • Career opportunities

This event is free and open to all high school students and their parents. For security purposes, the exact location will be provided to registered attendees before the event.
