“This poll tells us very little about how N.Y. Jews will vote,” Mark Mellman, president of Democratic Majority for Israel, told JNS.
“I’m hoping that the Israelis will not make any massive land invasion in the meantime,” the U.S. president said. “It’s my expectation that’s not going to happen.”
The Israel defense minister told journalists that 1,468 of UNRWA’s 13,000 staff members in Gaza are members of Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

“I will give police the powers they need to crack down on this intimidating and appalling behavior,” British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said.
A family member said that two U.S. citizens, aged 20 and 18, were part of a group of about 20 men that the IDF detained in a raid of a Gazan home.
The vote revives chances to pass the foreign aid bill, with $14.1 billion for Israel, following the dramatic collapse of a bipartisan compromise effort.
Washington stated that the strike responds to Iran-backed militia attacks on U.S. forces in the region, including a drone strike that killed three soldiers in Jordan on Jan. 28.
