Cory Booker

The New Jersey senator stepped on a glass as the song “Emotions,” by Mariah Carey played, during his interfaith ceremony with Alexis Lewis.
“It’s a violation of Jewish values, a violation of Muslim values, a violation of Christian values,” Sen. Cory Booker told JNS.
The group has approached several leading Democrats to voice support against a term that has often been used by anti-Israel groups in the attempt to delegitimize Israel.
The three would also reinstate talks towards a diplomatic solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
After opposing the version that passed as part of a bigger bill in the Senate in February, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker came out in support of the current version of the Israel Anti-Boycott Act.
Democratic New Jersey Sen. Booker, 49, who represents a state with more than half a million Jews, labeled BDS as an “anti-Jewish movement.”
